Bollinger Royal Wedding Breakfast

Do you remember that Wednesday back in July 1981 when we all got up early in the morning to watch Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ wedding procession?
This year, on Friday, April 29, thousands of families across the U.S. will awake at the crack of dawn (in California at 3 a.m.) to watch the carriage procession, Buckingham Palace reception and dancing marking the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Date: Friday, April 29, 2011
Time: 11:00 a.m. (local time, GMT, DST)
U.S. Eastern Time: 6:00 a.m.
U.S. Central Time: 5:00 a.m.
U.S. Mountain Time: 4:00 a.m.
U.S. Pacific Time: 3:00 a.m.
And what better way to celebrate the “wedding of the millennium” than with a Bollinger Royal Wedding Breakfast and Bollinger — the official wine of the household of Her Majesty Elizabeth II?
After all, Champagne is the world’s greatest “food-friendly” wine.
In the weeks leading up to the main event, we’ll be asking readers to share their pairings and menus and we’ll be posting notes on how to serve Bollinger for breakfast — one of the greatest traditions of fine wine connoisseurship.
